Virtual event: Advancing equitable livelihoods for food systems workers
To end poverty and hunger globally and meet the targets of the SDGs, we must build agency for the approximately 4.5 billion people that depend on food systems for their livelihoods.
This event will discuss:
- Mechanisms required to collect better data on food systems workers;
- Better jobs for youth in the agrifood system;
- Improving agency for food systems workers;
- Rolling out nationally defined social protection floors.
This event is part of the official Committee on World Food Security 2021 programme.
