PSM Position Paper on COVID-19
In response to the growing COVID-19 pandemic the Private Sector Mechanism has penned a position paper which outlines what they believe will be the key aspects to watch as the situation continues.
It reads, in part “The global COVID pandemic has reminded everyone of the need to stay healthy and the primacy of access to food for food security. While the immediate problem has been access to food and the need for shelf stable foods, disruptions at borders and in supply chains may cause an echo in the food system with potentially disastrous effects.”
