Commit to grow equality: A global commitment to enhancing gender equality in agrifood systems through financing and partnerships by 2030

In support of the FAO’s Commit to Grow Equality (CGE) initiative, the International Agri-Food Network (IAFN) is organizing a side event during Climate Week 2024 in New York City designed to engage agrifood system companies on this new effort. The event will feature business leaders discussing the successes – and pain points – of current investments and programs designed to enhance gender equality and women’s empowerment in agrifood systems. The event will feature senior leadership from FAO presenting the CGE commitment matrix, which underlines the initiative, and present a pathway for companies to join this growing movement.
