Call for experiences and good practices in the use and application of the Voluntary Guidelines for the Right to Adequate Food in the Context of National Food Security
The call for experiences and good practices int he use and application of the Voluntary Guidelines for the Right to Adequate Food has been extended. It is now open until 30 November.
In 2004, the Committee on World Food Security (CFS) developed and endorsed the Voluntary Guidelines for the Right to Adequate Food in the Context of National Food Security (VGRtF).
The VGRtF take into account important considerations and human rights principles to guide activities aiming to improve food security, and focus in particular on the needs of poor and vulnerable people.
CFS invites you to share experiences and good practices on the use and application of the Voluntary Guidelines for the Right to Adequate Food in the Context of National Food Security (VGRtF). Input received will help to monitor progress on the use and application of the VGRtF and will be compiled in a document to be presented at CFS 45 in October 2018.
You can find the introduction to the online Call here. In preparing your contribution, we kindly ask you to use the template for submissions, which is available on the webpage in English, French or Spanish. The deadline is now 30 November, 2017.
To submit your contribution, please upload your completed template as an attachment to your comment online, or send it to FSN-moderator@fao.org.
