The Food Systems Summit Pre-Summit took place from 26 - 28 July. The Pre-Summit was held in a hybrid format with 500 individuals attending in-person and over 20,000 virtual attendees! This group came together to participate in a conversation that included private sector, civil society, food producers, Indigenous Peoples, youth and government officials.

The Private Sector Mechanism was represented at the Pre-Summit by 81 delegates from 24 countries. Throughout the three days, these delegates had 32 speaking opportunities.
