What is the International
Agri-Food Network?

The International Agri‑Food Network (IAFN) brings together international, regional, and national associations and organizations across the agrifood value chain. We represent farmers and producers of all scales, cooperatives, SMEs, input providers, manufacturers, processors, traders, and agrifood companies whose expertise, investment, and operational capacity are essential to effective food‑systems governance.

IAFN serves as a bridge between global policy and practical implementation. We translate multilateral guidance into real‑world action and bring grounded operational insights, data, and experience into global processes. The private sector is not solely a beneficiary of policy — it is an economic actor whose knowledge, innovation, and investment are central to resilient, inclusive, and sustainable food systems.

We support a fair, transparent, and rules‑based multilateral trading system as a foundation for global food security and sustainable development. IAFN recognizes the diversity of agricultural systems, scales, and food value chains that contribute to global goals through a wide range of approaches and farming models.

Our work is guided by a commitment to constructive, science‑based, and solutions‑oriented collaboration that strengthens global food‑systems governance and supports effective implementation across diverse contexts.
