Committee on World Food Security – CFS50
The 50th Session of the Committee on World Food Security (CFS50) will take place 10 – 13 October 2022. The session will take place in a hybrid format with the in-person portion taking place at FAO Headquarters in Rome, Italy.
CFS50 will seek to endorse two key policy products: the Voluntary Guidelines on Gender Equality and Women’s and Girl’s Empowerment and the Policy Recommendations on Promoting Youth Engagement and Employment in Agriculture and Food Systems. CFS50 will also discuss the 2022 State of Food Security and Nutrition report and all other CFS workstreams. You can view the draft timetable for the session here and the provisional agenda here.
